    Pastor's Update

    May 14, 2020
    Good Afternoon Church!

We hope everyone is doing well this week. Sunday, May 31 we are in the works on planning a drive-in church service. Isn't that exciting! We can all wave at each other again. More information next week in the weekly newsletter.

Please continue to pray for all involved and those affected with the pandemic. As things start to get back to a little normalcy, stay safe and continue to follow guidelines.

Our schedule for Wednesday, Debbie Woodard has her bible class at 5:30 and Elizabeth has her youth bible study at 6:30. Thursday, at 6:30 there will be a prayer time and devotional on Zoom. Sunday, at 10:00 am Pastor Mike will bring us his message titled "No Longer a Fugitive" from 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. Consider doing a Watch Party on Facebook Live with us.

We will be starting a Food Pantry soon. Please start dropping off nonperishable in the gym. (If we aren't there, outside the doors). We need someone to head this opportunity and volunteers. The pantry will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays. More information to come.

Prayers for all in need this week. Congratulations to Lester and Darlene on their granddaughter, Evelyn Joy. Let's take this time to reflect and come closer to our God. Enjoy your family time and have a wonderful week!

Next week, May 24, we have the pleasure of having Pastor Bledsoe preaching.

May you start your day off with a smile and end it with a smile. Happiness is contagious!
