Dear Church Family,
Thank you for all the love and support you have shown my family and me since we started here at OHN. I meant it yesterday when I said we truly feel like this is family.
Yesterday I shared my heart for the lost and broken in our community. Are we eager to step outside of our own comfort and leave the 99 to go reach the 1? Many of you grabbed cards yesterday committing to pray for the streets in Old Hickory Village. If you did not grab one, or were not here, we still have some available that you can pick up on Wednesday or Sunday.
If you are looking for ways to pray or what to say, Pastor Steve and Ginger shared several great prompts:
I am excited to see how God will move in the lives of those in our community and in our own lives as we pray for others.
Our teens returned from their retreat yesterday around 2:15. I have heard many wonderful things from both the leaders and the students. Please continue to pray for our Youth Ministry.
The men also had a great time at our monthly breakfast. We had plenty of food, and John shared a great devotion about our minds and focusing on God.
We have the Women's Baby Shower this Saturday to benefit the Crisis Pregnancy Center. It will be held in the FLC at 10:00 a.m.
I am also excited as we get closer to Easter. Make sure you grab some of the invite cards in the foyer and invite a few people to join you.
It is truly a pleasure to be your Pastor, and I am excited for the days to come.
Love you all!!
Love God – Love Others – and Go…
Pastor Micah
