Dear Church Family,
I apologize for the delay in sending out this week’s Pastor’s Weekly.
I want you to know how much I already love being your pastor. I am eager to get to know each of you better, and I want you to know that I am here for you. I am here to pray for you and with you, and to help guide and walk alongside you through life’s decisions. If you need to reach out for any reason, please do not hesitate to do so.
I would truly love to connect with all of you!
We had a wonderful Sunday morning together as we continued our series on The Condition of Our Hearts. We looked at what it truly means to love others and who our neighbor is. Jesus made it very clear to the Pharisees and experts in the law that even those we may despise are still our neighbors. May we strive to love others as Christ loves us, as beautifully described in 1 Corinthians 13.
We have a lot of fun planned for tonight as our kids and students gather for their Wednesday night activities. The kids will be having a “Snow Day,” which feels a bit ironic considering the weather reports for this weekend!
Our Student Ministry will meet as scheduled for an evening of games, fellowship, and time spent in Scripture.
Please don’t miss the opportunity for your kids and students to be a part of these important ministries.
We are keeping a close eye on the weather and will keep you updated if a decision is made to cancel church this Sunday.
You are loved,
Pastor Micah
