Dear OHNAZ Family,

Yesterday was a great day for OHNaz! We shared a beautiful time together in worship, followed by a very productive meeting with the church board. I am truly excited to work alongside leaders who are eager to allow God to lead and guide our conversations and decisions.

Mark 12:28–30 “One of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that He answered them well, asked Him, ‘Which commandment is the most important of all?’ Jesus answered, ‘The most important is this: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”’”

Love God. This week, I encourage you to surrender your days fully to Him. As individuals and as a congregation, let us allow God to begin refining our lives. May our hearts desire that Jesus sees more of Himself and less of us.

This past Saturday, our Women’s Ministry hosted a Soup and Salad Social! There was a great turnout, along with plenty of food, fun, and fellowship. Be sure not to miss the next Women’s Gathering taking place in February.

This week, our Youth Ministry is hosting a Family Night! This will be a great opportunity for parents and guardians to come and see what youth group looks like each week.

Each week, I plan to send a Pastor’s Weekly Email as a way to share reflections from our services, what’s coming up, and any important updates with all of you.
