Dear Church Family,

Sorry it has been two weeks since I sent out my weekly email! We have had some great worship services over the last few weeks as we have continued in our series, People of Prayer. We have looked at how Stephen prayed for those who persecuted him and how we are called to pray for those who bring us pain or try to offend us. We also talked about Hannah and her prayer of surrender. Do we truly surrender everything we have to God?

We have some great things happening in the life of our church. We have seen more littles, kids, and teens coming on Sunday mornings! With that comes an even greater need to keep our children safe, so we need your help. We are asking that each parent or guardian who drops off their child in the nursery please make sure to place a name tag on your child and take the matching tag with you. When you come to pick up your child, please do not open the gates. Allow the nursery workers to bring your child to you so they can collect your tag and match it with your child. This will help ensure better safety for our kids and also help our volunteers.

Our teens are going on their Spring Retreat this weekend. Please be praying for Liz and her team as they take 13–15 teens, along with several adults, to Gatlinburg. These retreats are a great opportunity for our teens to grow closer to each other, but more importantly, closer to God.

We also have our Wednesday Night Meal this week. There will be activities for all ages following the meal, so this is a great week to invite a friend or neighbor to come fellowship with us at church.

I am very thankful to be part of this amazing church family and cannot wait to see all that God has planned for us.
