    Easter Season Updates

    Pastor's Weekly

    Dear Church Family,

We serve a God who is Good and worthy of our worship. I love my church family! We have a lot happening over the next few weeks, and I want to make sure you are aware of all that is coming up.

    Palm Sunday
This Sunday is Palm Sunday as we celebrate the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. I am excited to gather with you as we worship and celebrate Him together.

    Palm Sunday Potluck Update
As mentioned on Sunday, due to a scheduling conflict we will not have the potluck this week. However, we believe this is an important time of fellowship, so we have rescheduled!

Join us on Sunday, April 12th for our Spring Family Potluck. We will worship together and then enjoy a time of fellowship. The church will provide the meat—just bring your favorite side dish!

    Community Easter Egg Hunt
In place of hosting our own egg hunt, we are partnering with The Village for their community event on April 4th from 12:00–3:00 PM. There will be free hotdogs, chips, and drinks (while supplies last), along with bounce houses, face painting, and a sack race. We are asking for donations of non-melting candy—please bring some this week if you are able. This is a great opportunity for our church to pour into our community!

    Good Friday Service
Join us on April 3rd at 7:00 PM for a time of reflection and remembrance as we focus on the sacrifice Jesus made for each of us. This service will conclude our People of Prayer series as we look at the Prayer of Jesus in the garden.

    Resurrection Sunday
Sunday is coming—and we know Jesus did not stay in the grave! Join us as we celebrate our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

    • No Sunday School that morning
    • Children are invited to worship with their families
    • Nursery will be available as usual

Don’t forget to grab invitation cards from the foyer and invite someone to join you for Easter Sunday!

We are seeing God move in amazing ways—new families visiting and lives being impacted. Let’s continue praying over our streets here in The Village and believing for even more.

Love God – Love Others – Go

    Love,
    Pastor Micah
