Old Hickory Family,
I wanted to give you a brief update on our property. We did not close on the property on Jan. 8, nor did the buyer give an additional deposit to extend the contract. Thus, the contract has expired, and our property is back on the market. Our real estate broker has increased our listing price from $1.95 million to $2.1 million.
Since our vote on leasing back the Family Life Center was a vote contingent on us selling the property to the buyer that we were under contract with at the time, the possibility of a lease back of any part of the property is uncertain as we do not know who the buyer will be.
Let us continue to be in prayer in the coming days as we seek God's guidance for us as a church.
