    Dear Church Family,

It truly is a privilege to be the Pastor of OHN. We have a lot happening here at OHN, and I am grateful for all God is doing in and through our church family.

This Saturday, May 9th, we will have our monthly Men’s Breakfast at 9:00 AM. If you are able, please bring a dish to share!

Next Wednesday will be our monthly Wednesday Night Meal, and I believe BBQ Chicken is on the menu!

We also have kids and teens who will be attending Church Camp this summer. If you would like to help send our students to camp, we will be having a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Sunday, May 17th, following the morning worship service. A recommended donation is $10 per adult and $5 per child.

May 24th is going to be a full and exciting Sunday! We will:

    • Recognize and celebrate our High School and College graduates
    • Dedicate 2 babies
    • Celebrate those who are taking the step of baptism

We currently have 9 people who have shown interest in being baptized! If you have a desire to be baptized, please reach out to me.

This Sunday is Mother’s Day — a time when we celebrate moms and honor the women in our lives. We also recognize those who have longed to be mothers, those who have lost their moms, and anyone for whom this day may carry mixed emotions. Please know you are deeply loved and appreciated.

This Sunday before and after church we will be serving “Dirty Sodas”! Dirty Soda is a beverage made by mixing fountain soda (most commonly Diet Coke or Dr. Pepper) with flavored syrups, creamer, and lime. We will have:

    • Coke
    • Coke Zero
    • Dr. Pepper
    • Sprite
    • Sprite Zero
    • Lemonade
    • Cotton Candy Alani

Keep an eye on our social media for pictures and the full menu of drinks that will be available! Come early or stay late and enjoy a special treat together.

Lastly, we have a family in The Village who recently lost their home in a fire. Their greatest need right now is a place to live or stay temporarily. If you know of anyone who may be able to help, please contact me ASAP.

As a church family, I would also love for us to bless them in practical ways. We have already provided a meal, but we can continue helping immediately. Their son is in need of XL clothing, and gift cards would also be a tremendous blessing. If you are able to help, please bring a gift card this Sunday so we can support this family during this difficult time.

I can’t wait to see you all this Sunday as we gather together to worship.

Love God - Love Others - and Go…
