We have had some great worship services over the last few weeks as we have continued in our series, People of Prayer. We have looked at how Stephen prayed for those who persecuted him and how we are called to pray for those who bring us pain or try to offend us. We also talked about Hannah and her prayer of surrender. Do we truly surrender everything we have to God?

What a beautiful time of worship and prayer we shared this past Sunday. We have begun a new series titled People of Prayer, and over the next seven weeks we will focus on the importance and power of prayer.

We wrapped up our series on the condition of our heart, and we finished by talking about the word: Go. We are called to go and share the good God has done in our lives.

I want you to know how much I already love being your pastor. I am eager to get to know each of you better, and I want you to know that I am here for you. I am here to pray for you and with you, and to help guide and walk alongside you through life’s decisions.

Love God. This week, I encourage you to surrender your days fully to Him. As individuals and as a congregation, let us allow God to begin refining our lives. May our hearts desire that Jesus sees more of Himself and less of us.

What an amazing service we had yesterday. I was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. April and I had such a wonderful time worshiping alongside each one of you. We cannot wait to see all that God has planned for OHNAZ.
