Old Hickory Church of the Nazarene

OHNAZ

Located at 605 Jones Street, Old Hickory Church of the Nazarene has been a part of the life of Old Hickory Village since 1938. Beginning with just a dirt floor basement, Old Hickory Nazarene has added to its facilities many times over the years. In addition to the sanctuary and classrooms, the campus now consists of a Family Life Center which houses the church offices and the gym, a parsonage, and an educational wing which was dedicated in June of 2002.

From the Pastor’s Pen

“I can’t fix it.”
Bill Cosby never would have said that. Perhaps you remember the Cosby Show, either from its first run (I do) or in reruns on TV Land. Bill Cosby always thought of himself as a capable handyman. His wife did not share that sentiment. Too many times she had seen Bill tackle what would have been a small job for a skilled repairman, turning it into a much larger job requiring much more expertise to handle. He just never could admit that he could not “fix it.”

Church Office and Administration Information

This newsletter marks our first as a quarterly newsletter. We will being to produce the newsletter by our church quarters, and as such, this one covers Sept.—Nov.

On the first Sunday of every month, we will have a calendar available in the foyer and in the bulletin for the upcoming activities. We encourage you to check the website, www.ohnaz.org, or call the church office at (615) 847-2240 if you ever have questions about events.

The church office is open Monday—Thursday from 9:00 am—3:00 pm
